Gathering and Sharing Wisdom Conference 2009

I wasn’t here in 2009, but I kind of wish I was. There was a cool conference and here at ICWRN we like to make our materials and ideas open to the public. So this post is about that conference and some of the materials we used to make it a success.

In 2009, Indigenous Child Well-Being Research Network brought together front-line workers, First Nations peoples, Inuit and Metis individuals, families and communities, Aboriginal organizations, academic institutions and researchers. The Provincial Conference, “Gathering and Sharing Wisdom” highlighted research and practices that are enriching the lives of our children. It was a chance to share the current programs and research projects that are working in our communities.
